Adobe updates Photoshop Express for Android, includes KitKat support

Adobe has announced that it has released a new version of Photoshop Express for Android in Google Play. Apart from being built ground up, the updated version brings support for Android 4.4.

The company states that it has made the app easy-to-use and improved the performance. The updated version is powered Adobe’s latest image rendering engine, which enables handling of large file sizes.

“Photoshop Express has consistently received more than four out of five stars, and has sat strong in the top 20 apps on Google Play in the Photography category. This makes us even more excited to get this significant update in the hands of every Android user out there,” Adobe noted in a blog post.

  • Corrections menu with slider controls to fine-tune exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, tint, etc.
  • Accessing and processing images saved on the SD card faster than before.
  • Exciting filters to create fun new looks.
  • Upload photos to private albums in Adobe Revel to view and share memories across devices.
  • Support for KitKat
