According to the known leaker @evleaks, Sony will be launching a new smartphone, codenamed Sirus, at this year’s MWC. This is not all @evleaks also notes that the Japanese electronics giant will unveil a tablet, codenamed Castor, at the same event.

Not many details are available about both devices, but here are the expected specifications as per @evleaks.

Sony Castor: Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor, 4G LTE support (optional) and Wi-Fi

Sony Sirius: 5.2-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor, 2014 flagship model with expected launch Verizon in US.

A slightly unreliable report from Digi-Wo has leaked few more specifications of Sirius like QHD 2560x1440p display, 3GB of RAM, 20.7MP rear camera G lens, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 3,500mAh battery.

With just Xperia Z1 Compact announcement at CES this week, it seems quite sure that Sony is keeping the main attractions for MWC 2014, which is scheduled from February 24 to 27.
