Nexus 10 successor rumours don’t seem to die down as Digitimes is back with a report suggesting that we could see the launch of Samsung-built next-generation Nexus 10 tablet at Consumer Electronics Show 2014 next week.

According to Digitimes, the upcoming tablet is expected to include AMOLED display panel. It does not reveal any other details about the device, which if real, will most likely run on Android 4.4.2 and be powered by Snapdragon 800 or Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa processor.

Given Digitimes’ hit and miss record, we are not too hopeful about this one but given the fact that we have long been hearing about reports of Nexus 10 successor’s existence, we are not dismissing the possibility.

To remind you, the original Nexus 10 tablet was also built by Samsung and came with a high-res display, Exynos 5 dual processor, Wi-Fi and 16GB/ 32 of internal storage. Although praised for the display, the original Nexus 10 was found to be slightly underpowered, which we hope to see fixed in the next generation.
