Google developing Android-based in-car entertainment system with Audi: Report

Google is reportedly going to announce that it is working on an in-car entertainment system, which runs on Android operating system, with German auto maker Audi at CES 2014. According to WSJ, Google’s in-car Android efforts aren’t just limited to Audi, the company will also be disclosing its collaboration with other auto-makers as well as chip manufacturer’s like NVIDIA at the event.

WSJ writes:

Next week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Google and German auto maker Audi AG plan to announce that they are working together to develop in-car entertainment and information systems that are based on Google’s Android software, people familiar with the matter said.

Other details are not available at this moment but with CES just eight days away, we will be hearing from Google very soon.
