More details revealed about Samsung’s 2014 tablet plans

We have been hearing about Samsung’s upcoming tablets for the last few weeks but not many details have been revealed so far. Some media reports have indicated that Samsung plans to release as many as four tablets in the New Year but what exactly are we going to see in 2014. SamMobile claims to have got some concrete information.

According to this Samsung news website, Samsung will launch Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, Pro 10.1, Note Pro 12.2 and Tab 3 Lite in Q1, 2014. While we have already seen several leaks about Tab 3 Lite, other tablets are still a mystery.

SamMobile notes that all Pro tablet will be released in Wi-Fi and LTE models, while Tab 3 Lite will be available only in Wi-Fi and 3G versions. The 8.4 and 10.1-inch Pro tablets will have 16GB storage base model, while Note 12.2 will start at 32GB storage, adds the website. There is no word on storage options of Tab 3 Lite, which we expect to be 8GB and 16GB.

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite: Around Jan 6-12, 2014
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4/ Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2: Around Feb 3-9, 2014
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1: Around Feb 10-16, 2014
