Huawei Honor 3XHuawei today introduced two new Android smartphones at a press event in China. Part of the company’s Honor-series, the new smartphones are called Honor 3X and Honor ­­3C. The company has not revealed the availability details for any of the smartphones but interested consumers in China will be able to pre-order Honor 3C beginning tomorrow at JD.com or VMall.

Talking about Huawei Honor 3X (leaks pegged the name to be Honor 4) first, the smartphone is powered MediaTek’s new octa-core platform and comes with features like 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter, 2GB of RAM and 3000 mAh battery. The phone also packs dual-SIM support and the usual set of connectivity options.

The phone will sold for 1,698 Yuan ($280) in China. The pricing details are unclear for other markets.

Next up is Honor 3X’s cheaper cousin – Honor 3C. The phone comes with Android 4.2, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 2300 mAh battery. The phone also sports a smaller 5-inch 720p display and will be available in both 1GB RAM and 2GB RAM variants. The 1GB RAM version will be sold for 798 yuan ($130), while 2GB RAM variant will go for 998 yuan ($160).
