Can now respond to queries in Japanese, French and German

Google has updated its official Search app for Android in Google Play. The new update allows Google Search to respond to voice-searches in Japanese, German and French along with already available English.

Once updated to the latest version, Android users will be able to ask questions in these languages and get relevant answers in the same.

“Well if you do speak French, German, or Japanese, Google can now help you find information faster by speaking out answers to your questions in your native language. English speakers have been hearing Google respond to their spoken queries for a while and we’re now bringing some of the functionality to people in other parts of the world,” Google noted in a blog post.

To remind you, Google only responds to select queries in voice, the questions, which can be answered in specifics.
