BSNL & Pantel launch Penta Smart PS501, PS650 smartphones in India

BSNL has announced the launch of new BSNL Penta Smart PS501 and Penta Smart PS650 smartphones today in collaboration with Pantel as a part of its Bharat Phone range. The PS501 smartphone is already available in the country via retail stores and online for around INR 6,299 (MRP: INR 6,999), however Penta PS650 will be available in the coming days for INR 7,999 (MRP).

Penta Smart PS501 features a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2.2, 5MP rear camera, dual-SIM support, and 0.3MP front camera. The phone also comes with 1800 mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage, and 2G support.

On the other hand, Penta Smart PS650 comes with 6.5-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The phone also packs 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 3G, and 2,500mAh battery.

Data offer: BSNL is offering free 3GB of 3G data and up to 300 minutes of talk-time with the purchase of both smartphones.
