CyanogenMod 10.2 RC1 now available for select devices

Cyanogen team earlier today released the CyanogenMod 10.2 RC1 for initial set of compatible devices. Other devices will be getting CM 10.2 RC1 release in the coming days. If you are running a previous build of CM 10.2, you can install CM10.2 RC1 without any issues and for other builds and if you are a CM Installer user, check out instructions below.

You can safely flash this on top of CM 10.1 (any version) without wiping data IF you also manually update your third party add-on zips (kernels, mods, packs, etc).
For all other previous releases, you should be able to update without losing your data provided you follow the third party item from above.
If you have installed CM using ‘CyanogenMod Installer,’ then you won’t see these builds on your update mechanism. Your release stream only receives ‘verified’ SNAPSHOT builds, which just means you’ll see a different set of builds in the coming days.
