Chromecast users, time to cheer up. HBO GO has added Chromecast support, so you can now stream your favourite HBO shows on your television via Chromecast.

“Now you can easily enjoy “Game of Thrones,” “Boardwalk Empire,” “Girls” and your favorite movies on your TV by casting from the HBO GO app or website,” Shanna Prevé, Head of Content Partnerships for Chromecast wrote in a blog post.

“Google’s Chromecast is one of the newest, more exciting devices in the marketplace today, so we are very happy to bring this capability to our subscribers. From the beginning, our goal has been to bring HBO GO to the devices where viewers want to watch it and Chromecast definitely falls into that category,” said Otto Berkes, CTO, HBO.

To start using HBO Go with Chromecast, grab the latest HBO GO app from Google Play.

To remind you, you can also stream content from YouTube, Netflix, Pandora and more to your HDTVs using Chromecast.
