Motorola reveals more about Android 4.4 update plans

Having started rolling-out Android 4.4 update for at least one device variant, Motorola has revealed the names of more Android phones that will be getting KitKat update in the coming months.

As per the Motorola update page, Droid RAZR M (both normal and dev edition), Droid RAZR HD, Droid RAZR MAXX HD, Atrix HD, and Electrify M will be getting the Android 4.4 update in addition to the already announced Moto X and 2013 Droid smartphones.

The company has not revealed the exact update roll-out time-table but we should be hearing something soon. Motorola is still deciding the fate of a few more devices, which might or might not get the Android 4.4 update, so we can expect more additions to the device-list in the coming weeks.

Google’s influence on Motorola is clearly visible and the company seems to be taking device updates seriously and the recent actions speak of it. We hope Motorola continues on the same path in the future.
