Google or Samsung might not have officially announced the new Samsung Chromebox but it has already appeared on Google’s Chrome OS device website. Carrying the price-tag of $329, it will be available on Amazon & TigerDirect in US and Amazon, Currys & Very.co.uk in UK. There is no word on the official release date right now.

The new Samsung Chromebox is powered by Intel Celeron processor (probably based on Haswell micro-architecture like the other latest Chrome OS devices) and comes with 4GB of RAM, 16GB SSD, 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two years, 6 USB 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort++  ports and one DVI-I single link output.

It also packs dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet port, Bluetooth 3.0 and can work with up to two 30-inch monitors with HD output. It is a decent option for the consumers looks for basic internet browsing machine.

Are you sure this is new? This looks very like the Samsung Chromebox that has been out for a year and which is sitting on my desk in front of me right now.
