Karbonn A16 and A99 now available in India, A12+ coming soon

Karbonn has silently released two new Android smartphones in the Indian market and is planning to launch another next week. Available now at various online retailers, Karbonn A16 and A99 are both budget dual-SIM Android phones and A12+ is also going to be the same.

Talking about Karbonn A16 first, the phone packs a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2 and 1350 mAh battery. A16 also features 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. It has been priced at INR 5,990.

Coming to Karbonn A99, the smartphone comes with the same specifications as Karbonn A16 apart from a slightly bigger 1400 mAh battery. The phone is retailing for INR 6,190 in the country.

Lastly, Karbonn A12+, which is set to be released in the coming days, packs the same specifications as Karbonn A99 and the only difference seems to be the design. The phone will sell for INR 5,199.

We are not really sure why Karbonn is releasing three almost same Android smartphones. Apart from one little difference, all three devices are exactly same.
