LG G2 goes on pre-order for INR 40,499

LG’s upcoming G2 smartphone is already up for pre-order at online retailer Saholic in the Indian market. The smartphone, which is set to be launched on September 30 in the country, has been priced at INR 40,499 and will be available on the launch day itself.

Considering the specifications of this LG flagship, the pricing seems to be decent and the phone will be competing with the likes of Sony Xperia Z1.

To remind you, LG G2 runs on Android 4.2.2 and is powered by 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The phone sports a 5.2-inch IPS full HD display, 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, 3,000 mAh battery and 32GB of storage.

It is also the first smartphone to come with power and volume buttons on the back of the smartphone instead of the usual – sides. The early reviews indicate that the placement of the buttons does not really hamper the overall smartphone and just takes a little getting used to.

The phone will be succeeding LG’s Optimus G smartphone as the flagship model in the country, which after multiple price-corrections is now being sold around INR 26-27,000.

Note 3 is INSANELY priced.. Can you imagine a 50000 smartphone?? It could very well be priced at 42000-43000 range considering the 32Gb model.
