Karbonn Smart A51 Android phone goes on sale for INR 3,499

Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn has silently released its new Smart-series Android phone A51 in the country. Currently being sold at various e-tailers including Saholic, the smartphone has been priced at INR 3,499, making it one of the cheapest smartphones from the company.

As the phone is so affordable, the specifications aren’t really fancy. For INR 3,499, you will get Android 4.0, 1GHz processor, dual-SIM support and 3.5-inch HVGA display on Smart A51. The phone also comes with 3.2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of storage, microSD card slot and 2G.

In addition, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1100 mAh battery and microUSB port are present on the smartphone. The phone will be joining the likes of Karbonn Smart A3+, Smart A50, Smart A1+, Smart A1* in the sub-INR 4,000 price-bracket.
