LG G Pad 8.3 might cost $299 at launch: Report

Reports originating from China suggest that LG’s recently announced G Pad 8.3 tablet might be priced at just 1830 yuan ($299) at launch.  Considering the specifications of the tablet, it seems like a great price and would certainly help the company in the sales.

G Pad 8.3 is the comeback tablet for LG. Since launching its original tablet Optimus Pad and its variants in 2011, the company has been absent from the tablet market.

There has been no official announcement regarding the pricing of LG G Pad 8.3, so we are taking this with a pinch of salt and would like to wait for LG to make a statement. The tablet is scheduled to go on sale in markets next month, so we should be hearing about the official pricing in the coming weeks.

To remind you, LG G Pad 8.3 packs an 8.3-inch 1920x1200p resolution display, Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 and Wi-Fi. The tablet also comes with 16GB storage, 5MP rear camera, microSD card slot, front camera and 4600 mAh battery.
