These lens-style cameras basically work in partnership with your smartphone, which acts like a viewfinder and controller for these cameras. Users can however also use these without any smartphone as they include a shutter button, memory card and battery of their own, but you won’t be able to see what exactly is your output going to be, as there is no viewfinder, pretty much why you need a smartphone.

Both the lens-style cameras are available in Black and Silver/ Gold colours. The company is also selling a host of other accessories like carrying case, and tripod but only carrying case seems to be on pre-order right now (link for QX10 case, link for QX100 case).

I think I’ll wait for the v2 model, which includes a viewfinder.
The v2 model with viewfinder is already available. It’s called the RX100
