Asus announces MeMo Pad 8, MeMo Pad 10 and upgraded Fonepad 7

Taiwanese manufacturer today announced two new Android tablets MeMo Pad 8 and MeMo Pad 10 as well as an upgraded version of its previously announced FonePad 7. The company however has not shared pricing information at this point but the tablets are expected to be available before 2013-end.

Coming to the tablets, the newly unveiled Memo Pad 8 comes with an 8-inch 1280x800p display, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera. The tablet also packs 8GB of storage, microSD card slot, 1GB of RAM, 3950 mAh battery and Android 4.2.

On the other hand, Memo Pad 10 comes with 10-inch 1280x800p display, 2MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera and 8/ 16GB of internal storage. Asus has also included 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5070 mAh battery, microSD card slot and Android 4.2 on the tablet.

Lastly, the upgraded version of FonePad 7 features dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor, 1GB of RAM, HSPA+ 3G and 7-inch 1280x800p display. This tablet with voice-calling support also comes with 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 3950 mAh battery and 8/ 16/ 32GB of internal storage with microSD card slot.  The company has also packed dual-front speakers with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology on the device.
