Presence of fingerprint reader on HTC One Max confirmed in leaked images

Looks like, the rumoured HTC One Max is indeed coming with a fingerprint reader placed on the back of the smartphone. Few leaked images of the China Unicom variant of the phone popped on Taiwanese site ePrice and have confirmed this feature.

While the photos do not show the actual fingerprint reader but just the space for it in the phone, the source seems to be pretty certain about the presence of reader. Also, a leaked image shows fingerprint reader toggle in quick settings of the phone, further confirming the same.

ePrice notes that the updated camera software on HTC One Max will include Samsung/ LG’s dual-shot like feature, which allows the users to take an image with inputs from both front and rear cameras.

In related news, the specifications of the One Max have been leaked once again and this time from China. According to LeakROMS, HTC One Max will come with 5.9-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor (Snapdragon 800 most probably), 2GB of RAM, Android 4.3, Sense 5.5, NFC, 2.1MP front camera and Ultrapixel rear camera.

There is still no word on when we can see this smartphone but we won’t be surprised if it appears at IFA trade fair next week.
