LG Optimus L9 II official, to go on sale in Europe first

LG has officially announced a new L-series II smartphone in the form of LG Optimus L9 II D605 on Monday. Unveiled as a part of local launch event in Netherlands, the smartphone will go on sale in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, and Romania beginning October. Availability details for other countries are not clear at this moment.

LG Optimus L9 II features 4.7-inch 720p True HD IPS display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 2150 mAh battery, IR blaster, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.  There is no word on the cameras present in the smartphone but as per a recent leak, the phone will sport an 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera.

The company has also pre-loaded its own UI atop Jelly Bean in the smartphone.
