AT&T to launch Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 & HTC One mini

US telecom operator AT&T has announced that it will be releasing one mega and one mini smartphone on its network on August 23. These smartphones are Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 and HTC’s One mini.

To give you a quick recap of the specifications of these Android 4.2-running smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 packs a 6.3-inch 720p HD display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera and 3,200mAh battery. HTC One mini also comes with 720p display but in a much smaller form – 4.3-inch. It also features 4MP UltraPixel camera, 1800mAh battery, 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB RAM.

Pricing:

  • Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3: $149.99 with a two-year agreement
  • HTC One mini: $99.99 with a two-year agreement

“Continuing our legacy as the first carrier to launch Samsung’s Galaxy series, we’re excited to expand our growing line of Galaxy smartphones with the Galaxy Mega,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Devices, AT&T.  “Our customers loved the HTC One, so we are excited to offer this slimmer, more compact version,” he added.
