LG Vu 3 leaked, to pack 5.2-inch 4:3 display & Snapdragon 800 processor

Original LG Optimus Vu

Despite the not-so successful outings of LG Optimus Vu and Vu 2, LG is planning to release a third smartphone in Vu series. Reportedly going to be launched before the end of September in South Korea, LG Vu 3 will come with a 5.2-inch 4:3 1280x960p resolution display.

Among other specifications, the phone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor, 13MP rear camera and LTE-A support.  It is interesting to note that apart from the 4:3 aspect ratio display (and thus resolution), all other specifications of Vu 3 seems to be same as Optimus G2. Vu 3 will probably also support stylus input but we don’t really see how only that one feature along with the odd aspect ratio will drive users to opt Vu 3 over G2 or any other smartphone.  If consumers really wanted such smartphones, original Vu and Vu 2 would have been more successful.

Other details are not clear at this point but we will let you guys know if anything else pops up regarding the same.
