IFA trade fair might still be around two months away but Sony has already started sending out invites for its IFA press event to the tech media in China. The invite notes that the company will be holding its press conference on September 4. The Japanese manufacturer is expected to unveil multiple new products including the rumoured Sony i1 ‘Honami’ at this event.
To remind you, Honami is the alleged Sony flagship smartphone for the second half of 2013 and will be replacing Xperia Z. The final branding is still not confirmed but many reports have suggested that Sony might call it Xperia i1 or simply Sony i1.
There are no details on the other devices supposed to be announced at this press event but we expect to see leaks or hear some rumours in the coming weeks.
