Indian consumer electronics maker Mitashi has announced the launch of its second Android-powered portable game console in the country. Dubbed as GameIn Thunder Bolt, the new console has been priced at just INR 6,799 and joins the company’s already available GameIn Thunder.

Powered by a 1GHz processor, Mitashi GameIn Thunder runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It also features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, and 4GB of internal storage.  In addition, the console comes with microSD card slot, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, and support for Google Play Store.

There is no word on the RAM in the device but if we were to speculate, it won’t be more than 512MB and it could even be just 256MB. Given these specifications, the console is hardly powerful enough for play any decent games and would only work fine with casual titles like Temple Run or Angry Birds.

There is also no word on the compatibility of the controls on GameIn Thunder Bolt and whether they work with every game title available in Google play or only a select few.

Mitashi is targeting kids with this device but considering the fact that majority of the kids these days already have access to decent phones or even smartphones in many cases, we won’t see GameIn Thunder Bolt providing any value-add.
