The smartphone will be competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Grand Quattro in the country, which packs the same processor but has slightly inferior specs but apart from the 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front camera in Desire 600, we don’t see any real incentive of getting Desire 600 over Grand Quattro.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro’s INR 17,290 pricing clearly shows that HTC Desire 600 is way over-priced and should have a price tag around INR 21,000.

No, unless you somehow get it for like INR 20-21,000, we don’t recommended Desire 600. It is just not worth this pricing.

When will HTC learn? Their products are way too overpriced when it comes to products from the competition. No wonder they’re losing market share.
I think this is a very interesting phone. Basically I am not a fan of big screen phone and this being 4.5 seems manageable. I would prefer this over the boring Galaxy phone anytime!
You made a point here and of course HTC has better build and premium finish than cheap Galaxy…. But yes HTC has to improve process of Updating their device and need to provide good service in India.. And of course a bit less aggressive in pricing their device
highly overpriced…..galaxy quattro is available for 16k with almost similar specs……htc should learn how to price their products.
HTC has very poor record for Android updates, They need to improve on it
At 27k, this is costlier than Galaxy S3 and in Dual SIM variants its costlier than Grand, Grand Quattro and even Mega 5.8… I wonder what are they smoking???
Looks like HTC’s never going to learn how to price their devices and end up loosing market share.
