HTC One getting software update in India

US developer version getting update too

HTC is rolling out a small software update for HTC One smartphone in India as well as the developer edition of the phone in US. Although, we don’t have a confirmation about other countries, the unlocked units of the HTC One should start getting this update in other markets too soon.

The current update is being released over-the-air (OTA) and is just 17.17MB in size. The company has not revealed a detailed change-log, but it does mention that the update includes system enhancements. We don’t expect to see many changes in such a small update.

New Build details:

  • 1.29.707.17 (for Indian version)
  • 1.29.1540.17 (Developer version)

If you have already got the update, do let us know about the experience in comments. You can annually check for the update by going to Settings << About Phone << Software update.
