Fruit Ninja gets massive update, local multiplayer support in tow

Halfbrick Studios has released a massive update for Fruit Ninja Free version in Google Play recently. The latest update brings several new goodies including a brand new local multiplayer support for tablets.

“The wait is over! Fruit Ninja has now been expanded with a gigantic update for our loyal Android followers. Get ready to boost your fruit slicing arsenal with 8 new blades, 7 backgrounds, exciting new power-ups and the highly anticipated pomegranate,” Halfbrick noted in a blog post.

The latest version (1.3.6) also brings better support for tablets, new blades, new backgrounds, as well as new powerups to make the game fun again.
