XOLO X1000 to get Android 4.1 update this week

Advertisements

As we had reported earlier, XOLO has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its X1000 smartphone this week. The update release, which began today, will continue over the week.

According to a report in NDTV Gadgets, XOLO X1000 update is going to be available over-the-air as XOLO promised and users won’t have to visit service center to get the update as is the case with other home-grown mobile makers.

Originally launched with Android 4.0, XOLO X1000 is getting a much boost with this update. With this software update, X1000 will get Google Now support, performance improvements, Project Butter enhancements, better notifications and widget support and more.

XOLO is also expected to release Jelly Bean update for X500 in the coming days. To remind you, XOLO has also recently released Android 4.1 update for A800 via a PC download.
