Asus unveils Memo Pad HD 7 budget tablet, priced starting $129

As we reported earlier, Acer announced upgraded version of its Memo Pad tablet today in the form of Memo Pad HD 7. Packing some decent specifications, it is clearly meant for the budget tablet buyers.

According to the company, Asus Memo Pad HD 7 will be sold for $129 (8GB version) and $149 (16GB version). It will be available starting next month in select markets.

Asus Memo Pad HD 7 features a 7-inch 1280x800p display, quad-core A7 processor and Android 4.2. The tablet also comes with 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera. It will be sold in multiple colour options like original Memo Pad.

In related news, Asus has also announced Transformer Pad Infinity, Memo Pad FHD 10 and FonePad Note FHD 6 devices at Computex 2013.
