Samsung has announced that it has shipped over 10 million units of its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone to its channel partners in less than a month of its release. The news comes just 12 days after the company shared 6 million shipments milestone.
The phone took 27 days to reach this feat, making it the fastest selling Android as well as Samsung smartphone ever.
“The GALAXY S4 sets a new record for Samsung, generating sales quicker than any of its predecessors. Sales of the GALAXY S III reached the 10-million mark 50 days after its launch in 2012, while the GALAXY S II took five months and the GALAXY S seven months to reach the same milestone,” Samsung noted in a press release.
According to Samsung, they are estimating that Galaxy S4 is selling four units per second globally. The phone is currently available in more than 110 countries and the company plans to release it in a total of 155 countries.

More colours for Galaxy S4
Samsung has also confirmed that it will be releasing four more colour variants of Galaxy S4 smartphone. Out of these four, Blue Arctic has already been confirmed for Japan, other regions will be getting it too. Other three colours are Red Aurora, Purple Mirage and Brown Autumn.
