LG announces White Nexus 4

After several leaks and availability in India, LG has officially announced the White version of Nexus 4 smartphone today. According to the company, the White version will be available beginning tomorrow in Hong Kong.

It will be rolled out in other Asian countries over the next few weeks. The new colour variant will also be available in North America, Europe and Middle East in the coming weeks. The company has not revealed anything about the Google Play availability of the White Nexus 4.

“Nexus 4 set the standard for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company. “Nexus 4 White delivers the same Google experience to consumers in a stylish and attractive color option.”

To remind you, LG Nexus 4 packs 4.7-inch 1280-by-768 True HD IPS Plus display (320ppi) with Zerogap Touch technology 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 8MP rear camera, front camera and 8/16 GB of internal storage.

Somebody please tell it to Google that 16 GB is not at all sufficient on such high end phones. Instead of 8 GB and 16 GB versions, why don’t you manufacture 16/32/64 GB variants? SO STUPID OF YOU!!! >_<
