Times Internet releases Timescity app in Google Play

Times Internet has announced the release of the Android app for its lifestyle portal timescity.com in Google Play. The application, which went live yesterday, currently supports Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Goa, Jaipur, KolKata, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad cities.

Timescity app will give users access to restaurants & nightlife, movies and events in their respective cities.  As the app also sources content from Times Food & Nightlife Guide, the users would be able to read reviews, look-up addresses and phone numbers, get directions and call restaurants from within the app itself.

“We are happy to launch the Timescity app on Android to let the users discover the best of going out in their city in an intuitive, easy-to-use format.  We will be launching the app on all other platforms shortly,” said Siddhaarth Jalan, Business head, Timescity.com & Times Food and Nightlife Guide.

The application would be competing with the likes of Localbeat and MyCityWay apps.

  • Post reviews and ratings instantly
