The firm noted in a memo to its clients that HTC One shipments are expected to go up from 300,000 in last month to 1.2 million in April and 2 million in May. The company was last reported to be facing problems with the supply of certain components of its flagship model HTC One, which is supposed to help the company stop the downward spiral.
As per brokerage firm’s latest checks HTC’s supply issues “have significantly improved in the last two weeks” and the company’s second-quarter revenue is likely to rise over 50 per cent from last quarter, J.P. Morgan analyst Alvin Kwock wrote.
There is still a big threat from Samsung’s Galaxy S 4 model, which is reported to be going on sale in 30 countries on April 26.
HTC One was recently announced in the Indian market for INR 42,900 and is expected to go on sale in the next two weeks.
