Just yesterday, we told you guys abut Samsung’s Galaxy Win smartphone; well it is now official, at least in China. Packing the same specs, as reported earlier, the phone will go on sale soon in the country.  We still don’t know about the exact details about release date or pricing, but it should get clear soon.

Carrying the model number GT-I8552, the phone is also going to be available as GT-I869 and GT-I8558, probably for other carriers, notes Sammy Hub in post.

Samsung Galaxy Win packs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch WVGA TFT display, 5MP rear camera, 3MP front camera, and 2000 mAh battery. The phone also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, microSD card slot. There is no word on RAM or exact internal storage, but we can expect at least 1GB RAM on-board along with 8GB of internal storage.

The phone comes pre-loaded with China-specific apps like Sina Weibo and QQ along with Samsung’s ChatON messenger app.
