New rumour reveals Sony Xperia L specs

We have been hearing for a while now that Sony is working on several new smartphones that will be replacing company’s existing mid-range portfolio of Xperia P, U and sola. One of these upcoming smartphones is Xperia L. Now, a reliable source has revealed the full Xperia L specs to Xperiablog.net.

According to the blog, Xperia L will come with a 4.3-inch FWVGA display, 8MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 1700 mAh battery and Android 4.1.2.  The phone will not have capacitive touch buttons but on-screen virtual buttons like Nexus 4 or Galaxy Nexus.

A past leak has already suggested the presence of 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor on the phone along with Adreno 305 GPU. The smartphone is codenamed TaoShan and will come in model numbers – C2104, C2105, and S36h.

Sony Xperia L is likely to be announced alongside Xperia SP, which is also a rumoured mid-range Android phone from Sony. According to currently available details, Xperia SP will feature 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 720p HD display, 8MP rear camera, 8GB storage with microSD card slot, and Jelly Bean.

Here is a look at expected dimensions of Xperia L: 128.7 x 65 x 9.7mm.
