Which chipset is used??
According to their website (click on Specification tab), it’s the MediaTek 6589, a quad-core Cortex A7, the first quad-A7 to ship. The Cortex A7 has an impressive performance-to-power ratio, perfect for India, as shown in the second video in that link. My only nitpick would be the qHD display, wish they had gone with 720p HD display, but at that price, you can’t complain. They had to cut corners somewhere, and most people won’t miss 720p, unlike me. 😉
Gaurav, nice blog, some good info here. 🙂 I wish you’d have put the processor info though, took me a couple minutes googling to find it.
Well. The only qualm I had with Micromax was that it was too big. This one seems better. I would have preferred a 4″ display with the same resolution though. But well, it is better than micromax. a smaller display with slightly lower resolution with only help make the battery last a little longer and the games play smoother.
I am totally in love with this one.
