Karbonn Retina A27 now selling online for INR 9090

A new Karbonn Android smartphone has appeared online. The smartphone, which is dubbed as Karbonn Retina A27 is now available for purchase on Saholic.com. We are a little surprised by the term “Retina” used in the branding of the phone, although the display resolution is merely qHD. Retina might not be just related to the display resolution, but in the smartphone and tablet market, it is used for that purpose only.

Karbonn Retina A27 has been priced at INR 9090 and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on-board. The phone also packs 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD IPS display, and dual-SIM connectivity.

The phone also features 3G, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, 2MP front camera, 3GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 1800 mAh battery. A27 comes pre-loaded with bunch of apps including Flipboard. Usual connectivity options like Bluetooth and WiiFi, as well as GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack are also present on the smartphone.

At this pricing, the phone certainly seems pretty decent and would be worthy of consideration for those of you looking to grab phone without a huge display like A110 Canvas 2 or Karbonn’s A30, but want decent feature in under INR 10K price range.
