Asus has increasingly showed how serious it is about Android updates. Since the debut of original Transformer, the Taiwanese manufacturer has always been one of the first companies to push Android updates to its devices and it has done it again. Company today announced that US owners of Transformer Pad TF300T will be getting an over-the-air Android 4.2 update beginning today.

The update will reach other regions sometime this month.  This is the first Android device after the Nexus roll-out to get the Android 4.2 update.

According to Asus, the new update brings performance and stability improvements, improves the user experience with new features as well as providing multiple user account logins.

Company also announced that it will be pushing Android 4.2 updates to its recently announced Memo Pad, Memo Pad Smart, and Transformer Infinity tablets in Q2.

“The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 is one of the most successful ASUS tablets to date and offers a full notebook PC experience when attached to the innovative mobile dock. ASUS is committed to providing the best customer experience, and is the first manufacturer to receive Android 4.2 for partnered tablets,” company noted in a press release.
