Galaxy Discover is a Samsung Android phone without Touchwiz

Advertisements

Samsung will soon launch Galaxy Discover in the United States on telecom operators Net10 and Straight Talk, but there is something new here. Samsung Galaxy Discover does not come with Touchwiz customizations. The smartphone runs on stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Still we are sure, not many would be lining-up to grab this one-off Samsung smartphone as it is an entry-level phone with very basic specifications. We might even see it selling for $100 or below without contract.

There has been no official announcement about pricing or exact availability.

Samsung Galaxy Discover packs a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1300 mAh battery, 3MP camera and 2.7GB of internal storage.

We would love to see Samsung skip Touchwiz in one of its high-end smartphones.
