Powered by Android 2.3.5, the A54 comes with 1 GHz Qualcomm 7225AA processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, dual-SIM connectivity, 3MP rear camera with fixed focus, 3G, 256MB RAM, 1300 mAh battery, and 130MB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes pre-loaded with the usual set of Micromax apps like Hookup, M!Zone , M!Store.
With the launch of Smarty 3.5, Micromax now has five phones in its Smarty series including A68, A65, A25, and A30 and overall company is currently selling over 15 Android smartphones in the country.
Micromax has been quite aggressive on the smartphone front in the last few months and has been specially successful in the phablet segment. It had recently announced a new 5-inch smartphone A116 Canvas HD, which will go on sale in the first week of February.
