The phone was spotted on Karbonn’s official website and the company is currently taking the bookings for the same. The smartphone details are a little hazy right now, but Karbonn has revealed the following specifications.
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor (probably MediaTek)
- 5MP rear camera, front camera
- Dual-SIM connectivity
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
- 1600 mAh battery
- qHD display
Looking at the product shot, the smartphone seems to be packing a 4.5-inch or 4.3-inch display. Online reports indicate the phone will be priced at INR 12,999 and would go on sale in the next few days. We hope to see an official announcement next week.
Earlier this week, Micromax had announced the launch of A116, which is a 5-inch quad-core smartphone with features like 1GB RAM, 720p display, 4GB internal storage, and Jelly Bean.

processor alone cant make this phone competitor of A116, what about screen resolution, RAM and rear camera all seems low
its not = 2 Nokia 1100
tomato 1kg = 15 rs
1600 mah seriously ? Even with the low powered cortex a7, it will a stretch to make a day.
disapointing specs……!
The spec are not balanced when it comes to quality product. Micromax have grown and gained the faith of indian market with its Canvas2 and this well be the product that would change the face of Micromax. Karbonn needs to be a little competitive instead of giving cheap products with even lower pricing compared to Micromax..
launched at INR/- 10,990
With only 1600 mah…. R u serious, U cant compete with micromax, it has lot better specs…..lol..
