As Indian users await Galaxy S III Mini, Samsung has started pre-loading the smartphone with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in select Asian countries. New Galaxy S III Mini buyers in Vietnam and Indonesia are getting pleasantly surprised to find the 4.1.2 on their smartphones.

Existing Galaxy S III Mini users with 4.1.1 on-board might get the 4.1.2 OTA next month, but firmwares are already available for download on various websites like SamMobile for easy flashing.

Originally announced in October, Samsung Galaxy S III Mini comes with 4-inch WVGA display, dual-core 1GHz processor, 5MP rear camera, NFC, 1GB RAM, and 1,500 mAh battery. The phone also comes with software customisations like S Voice, Smart Stay, Direct Call and S Beam.

There is no word on the change-log for the updated version, but we hope to hear something very soon.
