As the New Year is approaching, more and more Galaxy S IV rumours have started to come in. The latest one from Reuters claims that the Galaxy S III successor might be launched as early as April 2013. The news agency is also claiming that the smartphone might come with a “what is being dubbed as unbreakable display.

According to Reuters, Samsung is a frontrunner in developing unbreakable screens, as OLED panels can replace glass substrate with plastic material.

It also notes that Galaxy S4 will come with a bigger & better 441 PPI display, quad-core processor, 13-megapixel camera, and Jelly Bean Android 4.2.

“Looking to the first half of 2013, we see evidence of Samsung likely accelerating the release of the Galaxy S IV – compared with May (this year) for the Galaxy S III,” UBS analyst Nicolas Gaudois told Reuters. “We believe preparations for volume manufacturing of unbreakable plastic substrate displays continue. All in all, we could see a strong products push in the high-end in the first half, followed by other releases.”

The Galaxy S IV has been reported been codenamed “Project J,” however none of these details are confirmed right now and are just rumours.

These guys need to take a break for a year or two. I’m still saving up to buy a S3 and they want to launch an S4?
