LG officially launches Optimus L9 in India for INR 23,000

After going on pre-order recently, LG’s Optimus L9 has now been officially launched in the country. The smartphone was announced the Korean manufacturer’s India arm yesterday. This Android smartphone has been priced at INR 23,000 maximum retail price, however the retail stores are selling for a quite less at around INR 18,500 (down from earlier pre-order price of INR 19,990).

LG Optimus L9 is a part of LG’s L-Style series and will join the already available smartphones from the series L3, L5 and L7 in the country. L9 features Android 4.0 and comes with a big 4.7-inch IPS (In-Plane Switching technology) display.

There is 1GB RAM on-board and the phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. Optimus L9 also comes with 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, and 2150 mAh battery.

In terms of the pre-loaded apps, the L9 features Q-Translator, MY Style Keypad and Q-Memo apps. According to the company, Q-Translator not only words, but also entire sentences and phrases with a simple scan from nearly 44 foreign languages to 64 user languages. It uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.

its quiet dificult to understand with LG when they giving the phones like L7 and L9 in price range of 15 to 20 or 25000 price range and gives just only 4gb internal memories….they needs to upgrade these small things which always makes big deals in consumers mind………………
