Sony promises Galaxy S III, iPhone 5 competitor soon

Advertisements

Sony might have released some great looking devices but when it comes to the overall competition in the market, Sony’s phones have a hard time. That seems to be going to change soon, as Sony Mobile’s sales chief, Dennis van Schie, told Financial Times Deutschland that Sony will create in the near future a flagship model that can compete with Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy S III.

This flagship is expected to debut at Consumer Electronics Show early next year, as company spokeswoman also revealed to FT that this flagship model will be available at CES and Mobile World Congress in the first part of 2013.

There are no other details available about this smartphone, but Sony clearly has a lot of work to do.
