More details on Lenovo IDEAPHONE K860 [Specs, Gallery]

As we reported a while ago that Lenovo India has released five Android smartphones in the country. The flagship of their portfolio is IDEAPHONE K860, a quad-core smartphone, which falls in the phablet category. K860 was originally launched in China in August this year.

It has been priced at just INR 28,499, which makes it cheaper than any of its competitors like Samsung Galaxy Note II (INR 37,500), LG Optimus Vu (INR 34,500), and even original Samsung Galaxy Note (INR 28,990).

The smartphone seems quite decent on paper, here are the full specs:

  • Processor:  Exynos 4412 Quad-Core
  • Display: 5’’ 1280×720 IPS (294 ppi)
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Cameras: 8 MP, 3264×2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash w/ Geo-tagging, 100 shoot Burst mode/ 2.0M front camera
  • Dimensions: 74.5mm (W) x 143.6mm (H) x 9.5mm (T) | weighs 190 grams
  • Connectivity: BT 3.0 HS with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g /n , USB 2.0 HS, A-GPS
  • Battery: 2250mAh, User replaceable
  • Memory: 8GB (EMMC) | Expandable storage upto 32GB via microSD card
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, proximity, compass
  • OS: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Much better phone than I expected. Out class Samsung S3 in both performance, screen, camera and lot’s of other things. I’m very satisfied.
