LG Nexus 4 goes on pre-order in UK, benchmarks confirm Android 4.2 (Update: taken down)

UK’s Carphone Warehouse seems to be in a hurry, as the retailer has put LG Nexus 4 up for pre-order.  It is promising to ship by October 30th, if you pre-order right now.

We seems like an error from Carphone Warehouse’s part, has confirmed previous leaks specs and other details. However, there are obvious errors in the listing, as it mentions OS as Android 4.2 at one place and Android 4.1.2 at another.

The image used in listing is the same we saw yesterday in a leak, which itself seem less than authentic, as it does sport stock Android in the screenshot.

In the listing, Carphone Warehouse lists deals from Vodafone and O2 telecom operators. LG Nexus 4 can be purchased for free with starting £31/month 2-year contract.

In other news, LG Nexus 4 has also appeared on a benchmarking website, confirming the presence of Android 4.2, which was until only rumoured.

To remind, Nexus 4 is expected to come with 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 4.7-inch 1280x768p resolution display and 8MP camera.
Update: As expected, the pre-order page has been taken down.
