HTC Desire V, One S get price cuts; now available for INR 16,999 and INR 25,900

As soon as Desire X became available in the country, HTC has announced price cuts for two of its Android smartphones. Company’s mid-range Desire V is now available for just INR 16,999, the smartphone was earlier retailing for INR 20,499.

Similarly, HTC has also reduced the price of One S in India. It can now be bought for INR 25,900; it was earlier available for INR 28,699.

Online retailer Saholic has already started selling the smartphones at the new prices and we expect others to follow suit. The brick and mortar stores have also got the new pricing directives from the company, as tweeted by Mumbai based Mahesh Telecom. Retail stores are selling these phones at even lower prices, Desire V- INR 16,500, One S – INR 24,990.

To remind you, HTC’s One S comes with Android 4.0, 4.3-inch qHD display, 8MP rear camera, and 1.7GHz dual-core processor. On the other hand, Desire V comes with 4-inch display, Android 4.0, 5MP camera and 1GHz processor.

HTC is expected to announce new devices for the Indian market next week.
