HTC announces One X+; packs Jelly Bean, 1.7GHz Tegra 3, 64GB storage

htc-one-x-plusAs earlier rumoured, HTC has made the One X+ smartphone official today. Running on the latest Android version Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean, the smartphone will be available in Europe and North Asia from October and in South Asia from November 2012.

HTC also revealed that it will be making a separate announcement regarding availability of the HTC One X+ in North America.

HTC One X+ is powered by a 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and comes with 64GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera and 2100 mAh battery.

According to HTC, it has also included a newer version Sense on the One X+. Dubbed as Sense 4+, it rings improved interface and more enhancements in camera, Beats Audio and media.

There is no word on the pricing right now, which would be release in local markets.

“We are taking the HTC One X to a new level with the introduction of the new HTC One X. Our customers will have super-fast browsing, an even better camera and more immersive entertainment with Beats Audio,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation.

HTC claims that the LTE version HTC One  X+ is 67% faster than the HTC One X LTE and will give you up to 50% (6 hours) more talk time.

HTC One X+ will be available only in the matte black colour option.

  1. Super!! HTC has set the standards for quality workmanship and build quality with the introduction of HTC One Series. One X has one good feature over and above better specs, if it turns out to be so i.e., better battery life. Might buy this if it hits India.
