Android-powered Nikon Coolpix S800c now on sale in US, Australia

Nikon’s first Android camera Coolpix S800c is now on sale in United States and Australia. Announced before IFA this year, the camera has got average first reviews and performance being the major point of concern among reviewers.

With Samsung Galaxy Camera in action, Nikon Coolpix S800c started looking old even before it became available.

Despite all that, if you will still love to buy Nikon Coolpic S800c, it has been priced at $349.99 in United States at B&H Photo Video, and $399 in Australia at Cameracity.

The camera has already been announced in India, but there is no word on exact pricing or availability, company did reveal that it will be released next month.

Nikon Coolpic S800c comes with a 10x optical zoom lens, 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 3.5-inch OLED WVGA touchscreen, and Android 2.3.  It also comes with Google Play Store access.
